Description
Provides support for some ISDN cards. This is only useful if you actually have such an ISDN card and want to use one of the very few Windows applications that can make use of them.
Resolution
On CrossOver 17 and greater, the simplest solution to fix this issue is to run:
/path/to/cxoffice/bin/cxfix missinglibcapi20 missinglibcapi20.amd64
Or add --show-all to see how CrossOver would fix it on your platform and others.
Alternatively you may try one of the commands below.
- For 32-bit Windows applications
Debian (1) : apt-get install libcapi20-3:i386
32-bit Fedora : yum install isdn4k-utils
64-bit Fedora : yum install isdn4k-utils.i686
32-bit openSUSE >= 11.2 : zypper install capi4linux
64-bit openSUSE >= 11.2 : zypper install capi4linux-32bit
32-bit openSUSE >= 12.1 : zypper install libcapi20-3
64-bit openSUSE >= 12.1 : zypper install libcapi20-3-32bit - For 64-bit Windows applications
Debian (1) : apt-get install libcapi20-3:amd64
Fedora : yum install isdn4k-utils.x86_64
openSUSE >= 11.2 : zypper install capi4linux
openSUSE >= 12.1 : zypper install libcapi20-3
Notes:
- cxfix --show-all may have more up-to-date fixes.
- The commands usually also apply to newer versions of the distributions above as well as derived distributions. So for instance a fix for Debian 7 may still be valid for the latest Debian Testing and is typically also applicable to Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Deepin and Pop! OS. Similarly a fix for Fedora likely also works on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, etc.
- (1) Note that the 64-bit library is known to be broken on some platforms such as on Debian 9-based distributions (e.g. Ubuntu 15.04 to 17.04). The recommended fix is to upgrade your Linux distribution.
